  • Community Engagement, Development and Strategic Communications
    Email: tucker@roaringforksafepassages.org

Tucker brings over 14 years of marketing, communications, and public relations expertise to Roaring Fork Safe Passages.Tucker's career at Aspen Skiing Company spanned 11 years and included progressive leadership roles, most recently serving as Director of Marketing. Tucker spearheaded gender equality programs (including large-scale International Women's Day events), and served on the 2017 Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals host committee. Tucker made the pivot to the non-profit sector to dedicate full-time energy to an issue deeply personal: protecting wildlife and creating safe passages for both animals and humans. What began as volunteering for RFSP shortly after its founding in 2022 evolved into a calling that could no longer be ignored.

Tucker's professional journey has been anything but linear—from ski race coaching in New Zealand, to working for a heli-ski operation, to writing for local newspapers in Summit County. This diverse background, combined with extensive experience in strategic communications, media relations, and community engagement, brings a unique perspective to wildlife advocacy work.

At the heart of Tucker's commitment to RFSP is a profound belief that animals deserve a voice at the table and that our natural world and human communities are deeply interconnected—when one thrives, so does the other.

Tucker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Middlebury College, where she was a member and captain of the Division I Alpine Ski Team. A passionate community member and proud mom to Axel and Tate (plus two cats and one dog), she's committed to showing up for this work with love, joy, and collaborative energy. When not advocating for wildlife crossings, you'll find Tucker immersed in nature—by a stream, within a forest, or skinning up a mountain—finding that delightful soul alignment that comes from the beauty of mother earth.

A native of the Roaring Fork Valley, Will has devoted his career to land conservation, wildlife habitat protection, and reconnecting fragmented landscapes for thriving wildlife populations.

Will's commitment to wildlife connectivity was shaped during his graduate studies at the University of Victoria, where he earned a Master's in Geography and Environmental Science examining the impact of climate change on alpine ecosystems. While in British Columbia, he witnessed firsthand the benefits of wildlife crossing structures along the TransCanada Highways and recognized the tremendous importance of safe passage infrastructure for wildlife.
